New Consultants In California & Michigan
I am so excited. I signed two new consultants yesterday. Passion Parties has two new "Passion Divas" in the ranks. I finally signed a team member in Paso Robles, CA. I am thrilled because I know she is going to hit the ground running. The second consultant I signed lives in Ann Arbor, MI (yes, that's where we lived for two years while Herb went to business school). She actually works at a bridal boutique. How awesome is that? Now, I can finally give away my party leads that I get in Michigan to my own team member. I think I'll have to make a trip to CA and MI! What can I say....business calls! :-)
Happy Day
Today is a great day! Taylor had her g-tube removed. For nine years (all of her life) she has had her "extra belly button". Taylor was THRILLED. She said and I quote "atleast now I can be semi-normal!" If you know Taylor, she will NEVER be normal. Taylor is extraordinary. Of course, while I was at UNC I handed out my Passion Parties cards.

Fundraiser for dog rescue
Last night I had a Passion Party to help raise money for the North Carolina Rottweiler Rescue. Everyone had fun but, more importantly, we raised about $400 for the rescue.
Please consider making a donation, adopting or fostering a dog, or otherwise helping out the rescue. Visit their web site to learn more.
North Carolina Rottweiler Rescue -- the only non-profit Rottweiler Rescue Organization based out of Raleigh, NC -- has been rescuing Rottweiler dogs since 1998. NCRR is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless Rottweilers and placing them in qualified homes.
NCRR does not have a shelter and depends on the generosity of the people who offer to foster dogs in their homes. NCRR volunteers do not receive pay for their help and all money raised by fund-raisers, donations and adoptions go directly to benefit NCRR rescue companion pets.
Please consider making a donation, adopting or fostering a dog, or otherwise helping out the rescue. Visit their web site to learn more.

Simply the Best - Convention 2008
"Simply the Best!" -- that was the name of this year's convention. You know, they couldn't have picked a better name! From Learning from the Leaders training pods... to Drum Cafe (my hands still feel it!)...
From meeting some of the Million Dollar Club members... to the Chippendales dancers...
Not to mention: recognition luncheons, gifts and more gifts... and Belinda Ellsworth's "How to Build a Million Dollar Team." She is one of the best! And, of course, my favorite Jack Canfield -- creator of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series and co-author of "The Secret." Very motivational!
Then there were all the new products and lots of new ways of doing things. Plus I met so many Passion sisters from all over the U.S. and Canada. It was nice to put faces with the names I hear on our training calls or see in e-mails.
Finally, there were the awards celebrations: 2 nights of elegant banquets and Fit for Queens (no words can really describe). Not only was Convention Simply the Best, it keeps on getting bigger and better every year!
